Nicola’s story:
“I’m originally from the UK, but I moved to Australia seven years ago and absolutely love it. This is my home now. Of course I miss my family and friends terribly, but I’m always on their case to move out here with me! I now live in Sydney and work as a leadership and lifestyle coach, which I love.
Nicola’s eHarmony experience:
“I guess I’m the same as many people, I lead a very busy lifestyle and find it’s not always easy to meet new people, let alone new people that I am truly compatible with! Since I made the decision to join eHarmony two years ago, I have loosened up a lot and relaxed to the idea of meeting people who are very different to what I thought I wanted. I would say that I am a much more open person now, my horizons have definitely been broadened.
I have found that the quality of the matches on eHarmony is far better than other sites. That, coupled with my newfound openness and knowledge of what I want in a person, has led to some truly fantastic dates. I have also become much better at qualifying people before I meet with them face-to-face and as a result I have had great fun with some brilliant guys.
With eHarmony, I like that you’re not just out there in the public domain. It’s a little more exclusive. I don’t have lots of unsuitable people approaching my profile, which has happened in the past, and I am much more in control of my future now.

Hi Nicole,
Absolutely you have done the right thing – and congratulations on taking this brave move into the online dating world. It might seem terrifying now but it can be lots of fun and so rewarding when you meet great guys (as I have through eHarmony). As for photo’s, I’m blessed with generous friends in the industry so they helped me out. I suggest you ask around your network of friends to see if anyone knows a good photographer at a reasonable rate. Good luck and enjoy

Congratulations on the success of the ad, it’s fantastic the guts you have shown and this will empower and encourage other people to use eHarmony for dating in Sydney. I knwo they will be very pleased with the results too. Again well done!
