Will you be my Valentine?
"Our relationship is amazing because we understand each other without having to talk about it. We love spending time together and being happy. Because of our shared interests, we are able to continue our lives as individuals and share our passions with each other."

Taking the plunge
"Mark and I had both been single for a long time and both felt that eHarmony offered a safe and non-confronting environment. I did not feel pressured and was able to go at my own pace. Friends recommended eHarmony as being a more professional site. Also it was considered the site for long term relationships, with a view to marriage were desired, the other sites were more short term orientated."

Just by chance
They were married on Cable Beach in an intimate ceremony. They hadn’t organised anything apart from the ceremony so they were surprised when they just turned up at Cable Beach Resort Bar and were given a free bottle of Champagne and the best table in the house so they could watch the romantic sunset as husband and wife.

Meeting the Parents
"We were both very nervous but excited to meet one another. I think Pete might have been more nervous than me but he could be excused - he did have to meet my parents on our first date!"

Our six-day first date
"That first nervous phone conversation however was the icing on the cake so to speak, so we made plans to meet. Daily photos, texts, emails and phone conversations followed as we continued to get to know each other, but we knew, despite the distance between us geographically, there was something far too special about our blossoming friendship to ignore."

Those first date butterflies
"We'd be thinking about what each other would message back for the whole day, and it was exhilarating to read through each other’s messages and hurriedly type back, going over and over the words, making sure they were just right!!"

The dimension of love
"When we finally met in person, or as I like to say, in ‘3D’, it quickly became obvious that our honesty in all of our conversations was going to stand us in good stead in our endeavours to develop not just a friendship, but a loving relationship."

World's apart
"All of a sudden I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned around and there he was, standing right behind me. I was so relieved - I hugged him and kissed him on the cheek. The rest of the day was so surreal having him there with me, being able to reach out and touch him and not see him through a screen was so amazing."
