Kartik and I met at the end of August in 2008. We had our first date in Princeton NJ which was the middle ground for us since Kartik lives in Philadelphia and I am from Central NJ. We had a nice dinner at PF Chang’s and then headed over to downtown Princeton for drinks. We walked around the beautiful campus area and by the end of the night we knew we were perfect for each other. From that point on we were inseparable.

On April 18, 2009, Kartik proposed to me at Penn's landing in Philadelphia. He hired a guitar player to sing one our favorite songs "Im Yours" by Jason Mraz. Thank you eharmony for helping us find each other!
