In the beginning:

As a thirty year old, busy working woman, Sally decided to try eHarmony even though she was quite aware of the stigma attached with online dating. Hywel was first to make contact with Sally and sent her an email to see where things would lead. They discovered that they had so much in common and shared values, interests and even some quirks. After emailing through the site for a couple of months they decided to take things to the next level and held a video call as Hywel lived in Wales, UK and Sally in Queensland. They continued to get to know each other quite well through email and video calls. Hywel then sent Sally a romantic letter and music through the post and they knew that their relationship was definitely leading somewhere.

First date:

Sally and Hywel met for the first time at Heathrow Airport in London. Hywel picked Sally up in the airport and they talked all the way back to Wales! Hywel spent the next two weeks showing Sally the sights of Wales. He played the perfect host introducing Sally to his family who were very welcoming. Sally fit right in with the rest of the family, as though they had always known each other.

Proposal:

Hywel asked Sally to marry him at home on a rainy day, firstly telling her all of the things he loved about her. In a sweet, intimate and special moment Hywel got down on one knee and asked Sally to be his wife.

Wedding:

The couple will be getting married on the 5th April 2012.
