We were across the country from each other.  He was working in Seattle; I was in Boston.  Though I was skeptical that a long distance relationship could work out, we hit it off, emailing and talking on the phone.

After two months of communicating, he visited me in Boston for a weekend.  By the end of the weekend, I knew I was ready to date him. We flew back and forth across the country every month. We were engaged February 2008 and  got married on August 30, 2008.
