Allen and I are both in our late 30's and had pretty much given up on dating.  Allen had tried other dating websites but was unhappy with the quality of women he was meeting. 

I was talked into joining eHarmony by my sister.  I was always hesitant to join an online dating site because of security concerns, just meeting some random guy didn't sound appealing.  I researched eHarmony and liked the in-depth questions and matching based on personality.

Allen and I were matched on March 29, 2008 but didn't start communicating until May 11th.  We hit it off right away and had so much in common.  We kept saying "I can't believe how perfect the match is"!!  eHarmony, you really did an amazing job!!  We got engaged in September of 2008 and married in March of 2009. 

We tell everyone, wherever we go, that we met on eHarmony.  It has given us the greatest gift we could ever receive...each other.  Thank you so much!!
