The really surprising thing about this is that although we had never met, we live 400 feet from each other for approximately 15 years. Our children have been going to the same schools, which are 2 houses from my home, all their lives. It's funny that we probably were at the same school activities and events for years and never bumped each other. We also know some of the same neighbors. The children get along and we are very happy in our relationship. I joke with people and say that I had to go on the world wide web to meet the man around the corner!

Paul and I met on eHarmony in January of 2005 and had no idea that we both worked in the same school district. I taught 1st grade at an elementary school and he taught 8th grade at the middle school. After we both realized that we worked in the same school district, we decided it was safe to date. 11 happy months later, December 28, 2005 Paul proposed to me on the beach. Paul and I met on eHarmony in January of 2005 and had no idea that we both worked in the same school district. I taught 1st grade at an elementary school and he taught 8th grade at the middle school. After we both realized that we worked in the same school district, we decided it was safe to date. 11 happy months later, December 28, 2005 Paul proposed to me on the beach. Matt moved out of unit 3A the same month that Shannon moved in to unit 2B, which was May of 2000. We soon discovered that we SHOULD have met a long time ago!!!! We both graduated on the SAME DAY from the SAME UNIVERSITY. In fact, Andrea was in line a few places behind me. Our mothers BOTH work for the same school system as do we. We both have a close friend who is a history teacher. In fact, our history teacher friends KNOW EACH OTHER and two years ago Andrea was invited to my friend's house via her friend. Who knows? We might have met sooner! We both have a brother close to the same age. We also discovered just recently that my brother was her cousin's manager at a local grocery store. Little by little we are discovering how CLOSE we were to finding each other.
