Greg and Stephanie
In the beginning…
After being matched on eHarmony, Greg sent Stephanie an email. After an impulsive and speedy response, the two were quick to take to the phones and started talking every day. Their fondness for each other grew the more they realised how much they had in common. However, there was one problem. A mass of land and water separated them - Greg lived in Australia and Stephanie, in America.
Despite the geographical boundaries that separated the two, it was not long before Greg decided to book a flight to America to meet Stephanie. Although she was a bit nervous about him taking such a long journey just journey, he was adamant and six 6 weeks later, Greg got on a plane to Texas.
The first date
Greg and Stephanie’s first date happened on the very night he arrived, at a little restaurant in Texas. The two were surprised at how comfortable and at ease they were in each other’s company. The night ran away with them, both not wanting it to end.
After that first magical evening, the two spent nine days together, relishing each other’s company. Much to Stephanie’s delight, she was not the only one falling for Greg - her son Hunter warmed quickly to him too. Everything was going so well, except for one glaring problem - the 15, 000 kilometers separating them! So before Greg left to go back home, they began to discuss ways of getting Stephanie and Hunter to Australia.
For Greg and Stephanie the proposal was short, sweet and simple… Greg said “I want you to marry me” and she said “Yes”.
On Greg’s third trip over to America the pair had a humble wedding with a few friends and family.
