Kirsty and Mark
Why did you join eHarmony?
Kirsty: I hadn’t met any men for a few years and was sick of being single. I really wanted to try to find the love of my life, and a few friends had joined and been successful.
Mark: I was looking for true love
Were you in a relationship before joining eHarmony or had you been single for a while?
Kirsty: Single for a long while
Mark: Divorced then single for a while
Do you have any children from a previous relationship?
Mark: Two gorgeous girls
When did you first start communicating?
Tell us about your first date
We went to Jetty Road, Glenelg for drinks, dinner and dessert.
When did you realise this was something special?
Kirsty: Not until our third date. I think he relaxed and came out of his shell, before then he was nervous.
Mark: Immediately after the first date
What makes you two compatible?
Kirsty: We have a similar upbringing and vitality for life.
Mark: Similar backgrounds, social standing and life goals.
What does the future hold for you two?
Kirsty: Happiness, hopefully marriage and if our age isn’t against us, an addition to our family.
Mark: Marriage and hopefully one or two children of our own.
Is there any other significant time in your relationship you’d like to include?
Kirsty: Meeting his children was a big deal, I wasn’t sure what they’d think or how they would react to me. We are all one big happy family now. We had a one year date-iversary holiday (just the two of us) to Bali this year, it was a great holiday. I don’t think he’d ever seen me that relaxed.
Mark: Holiday in Bali this year.
