Michelle and Justin
Michelle: “Justin’s profile caught my attention immediately as I could see that he embraced all aspects of life. We began to get to know each other through eHarmony mail and hit it off straight away. Realising our shared interests and sense of humour, we were keen to meet each other face-to-face. We met at Mordialloc Pier and walked along the beach together. We had so much to talk about so we had lunch at a local coffee shop afterwards. I knew he was the man I was looking for when I found it impossible to say good bye.
We stayed in regular contact and met in St Kilda for our second date, which happened to fall on Valentine’s Day. It was very cute because I received a text message from Justin when I was at work asking if I would be his Valentine. Of course I said yes! Justin arrived at our second date with red roses and I made him a loaf of banana bread. I wasn’t expecting roses and I definitely don’t think he was expecting banana bread. We walked along the beach after dinner and this is where we had our first kiss.
Our relationship is amazing because we understand each other without having to talk about it. We love spending time together and being happy. Because of our shared interests, we are able to continue our lives as individuals and share our passions with each other. Justin shares his mountain bike racing with me and I share my surfing with him. We share our passion for music, movies, adventure and cooking. Our relationship is amazing because being together means the sun is shining every day. Even when skies are grey, we care for each other and communicate to find a solution.”
Justin: “When I first made contact with Michelle I was so taken by her excitement and enthusiasm, and it soon became apparent that we had many common interests and plenty to talk about! It didn’t take long to arrange our first date, on which we both realised that there was such a spark and chemistry between us. I had never asked anyone to be my Valentine before and I was so nervous when I asked her, but of course was completely elated when she responded with a huge yes! We met up that night for our second date, a beautifully warm summer’s evening by the bay in St Kilda, where we concluded the perfect night with our first kiss and the start of our blissful relationship together.
I remember playing guitar and singing for Michelle for the first time, and realised that she brings out the best in me. The same happens when we cook together, when we share adventures together, when we laugh together and when we solve life’s problems together.”
