Alice and Andrew
Alice: “A couple of friends and I decided to give eHarmony a go after a friend of a friend moved in with her partner, who she had met on eHarmony. We had all been single for a while and were just meeting dud after dud! eHarmony seemed like a winner, so we all did our profiles together over a glass of wine!
After about a month, I started talking to Andrew. I found him really funny and it was a lot of fun chatting and getting to know each other, amongst lots of random, hilarious banter!
As we are both active people, we decided to go for a walk and coffee at Perth’s iconic Cottesloe Beach for our first date. It was so relaxed and we immediately hit it off. I think we sat there chatting for about four hours, and we knew then that we wanted to see each other again. That was on the Thursday, and we went on to see each other every day of that weekend!
We quickly began spending a lot of time together and it wasn’t long until we started meeting friends and family. We just clicked, and it felt like I had known him for a long time!”
Andrew: “I had been working as a teacher for a couple of years and was ready for a relationship, and the next phase of my life. I moved back to Perth and my sister recommended eHarmony to me, as she had met her partner through there.
Alice and I were matched and we just clicked. We followed the guided communication, and within a few weeks of chatting we felt comfortable enough to meet in person.
When we met there was no awkwardness, just excited energy masking itself as nervousness. We planned to meet for a walk and coffee but somehow this turned into four hours of chatting, laughing and smiling! We were having so much fun that Alice skipped her university lecture and I almost missed work.
Alice turned out to truly be the active, fun and easy going individual I had been communicating with on eHarmony. It has been a few months since that first meeting and I feel like I have found a great person, someone kind, caring and special to me.
Thanks eHarmony, you filled the role of a close friend introducing me to that special someone.”
