Les proposed in a local park. He was too nervous to get down on one knee, but of course Lisa said yes. Lisa & Les eloped to Broome, just the two of them, where they were married on Cable Beach in the afternoon in an intimate ceremony. They hadn’t organised anything apart from the ceremony so they were surprised when they just turned up at Cable Beach Resort Bar and were given a free bottle of Champagne and the best table in the house so they could watch the romantic sunset as husband and wife.
